SEMINAR

The procedure for the course of the diploma seminar begins with the completion of the form and submission to the Dean's Office of the diploma dissertation application form, which is a condition for obtaining credit for the diploma seminar and taking the diploma examination after writing the thesis. If it is necessary to change the topic of the diploma thesis, the student presents a new topic application form. The student writes the diploma thesis under the supervision of the supervisor assigned by the Dean of the Faculty, and each change of the thesis supervisor requires the Dean's consent in response to the student's request.

The student is required to submit the thesis edited in accordance with the editorial standards and the principles of building footnotes and quoting presented in the "Thesis Writing Guide". All theses are subject to anti-plagiarism verification in the APD system. Anti-plagiarism verification is carried out with the use of the Uniform Anti-plagiarism System. The maximum waiting time for a report is seven days, and the anti-plagiarism test result is available to all interested parties. A student may submit a diploma thesis at the dean's office after the thesis is sent by the supervisor in the APD system for review, and the promoters then enter the grade from the 2nd diploma seminar in USOS. Before setting the date of the diploma examination, the student must complete the entire study program (that is, obtain the appropriate number of ECTS and demonstrate successful completion of the elements of the study program that have not been assigned ECTS points, eg Diploma Proseminar, Physical Education, Health and Safety, etc.). One should remember about conditional credits and designated curriculum differences. Failure by the student to meet the required deadline for submitting the diploma dissertation results in repeating the last semester of studies in the field of the diploma seminar. The student is informed about the date of the diploma examination by the Dean's Office via e-mail.
